Life is a journey filled with ups and downs. There are times when we face situations in life that seem impossible. The isolation, struggle and despair we go through is real. This is when we need help to see there is hope. This book walks you through those difficult and dark times of life; giving encouragement that there is the ability to make it through the tough stuff. There is hope in the struggle, and this book is a light to help guide you through.

3dAbout the Cover – The tree of life. As a tree grows and develops, its roots dig deeper into the earth, establishing a firm foundation. Sometimes, the environment causes disturbances and difficulties that hinder the proper growth of the tree. The structure of the tree becomes challenged and pressured into a different direction. As the tree struggles against the environment, its shape becomes evident that it has taken on life with a hearty, boldness…empowered and surviving…despite its obstacles.

As I look at this particular tree…I see the ability to survive and overcome. I see the hope that this tree represents. No matter how difficult, how dark, how dry, or how barren this tree was at one time…it now stands firm with a healthy terrain surrounding it. The bent angle of the trunk shows where there was difficulty. This difficulty did not cause the tree to break and collapse…instead it overcame and continued to survive. This tree represents hope in the struggle.
