The Real Battle Is On

There is a battle we are facing worldwide. Spiritual warfare. It’s not uncommon. It’s written throughout history. Spiritual warfare is real and manifests itself in many forms. As we face the unfolding of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is very clear where the battle lies. The enemy has attempted to take control. The enemy is attempting to create chaos, confusion and increased anxiety. The enemy thrives on creating fear in the minds of people. We must stop the attack, with the power God has given us. We are given the power, through the blood of Jesus, to call on Him as our advocate, through prayer, surrender, and scripture.

The coming days are uncertain as we face the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our normal days are uprooted, and chaos, unrest, and anxiety can take over. This is exactly what the enemy wants. Satan thrives on fear. We cannot allow him the ability to be that controlling. What we are facing is not something new. Our existence has been a battlefield, long before our time. We are facing a true spiritual battle. Satan is attempting to attack our world. He is using epidemic measures to cause doubt, uncertainty, anxiety, fear, and division. Again, we cannot allow him control. Do not allow the enemy to enter your mind. Focus on the positive that surrounds us.

We must unite together as a nation. We must begin to take control, with the power we have been freely given. Prayer is our common denominator. No matter where you are in your faith journey, we can all come together and pray. Pray right now. Pray all day. Pray without ceasing, and let’s begin to fight this battle together. What the enemy meant for evil and destruction, let God turn around for the good of His Kingdom. Join together with your family, friends, churches, and co-workers. Pray, surrender, trust, and ask for God to rise up and take control. When our prayer manifests together, the trumpets will soar and an army will rise. We may not physically see the power of our prayers in action, but God assures us He hears us. Stay connected using the technology we have today. Use those avenues of technology for good. Support and love each other. Check on each other. Uplift each other. Keep in mind, no weapon formed against us will prosper. Together, as a nation, let’s unite in prayer for one another, and fight to win this battle.

God is with us.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”  EPHESIANS 6:10-13

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever. Amen.”   1 PETER 5:6-11

  1. Father God’s word is so powerful, bless you, for bringing God’s word. I totally believe what you have said. And yes we need to pray and also come together to pray as well. United we stand against the enemy. God is for us, we so need to call upon His name against this attack, and plead the blood of Jesus over all of our families, friends, towns, cities, nations etc as it was the blood of the Lamb that saved the Israelite in Egypt, so it will be for us now. Thank you Jesus for your blood and for our armour too. Also you are the word of God. We will stand firm. Amen
