Yes, you are valuable.

valueDo you ever feel like you would like to do something to make a difference in this world? Does your life feel mundane or somewhat without purpose? You may be so busy there is no possible time to fit anything extra in your schedule, yet you yearn to feel a sense of significance. This life you are living, regardless of what you are doing right now or where you have come from, is of extreme significance. You hold so much value and worth in every single thought, action or reaction that you do. No matter how mundane or boring you think your life is, you hold an enormous amount of significance in what you do. It begins with recognizing your own importance. It begins with allowing yourself to accept the confidence that you deserve.

As we begin this day, start by praying positive gratitude words to God. We are our own critic and we need to recognize the power of recognizing God for His blessings. Tell yourself you have a purpose and you are valuable. Even if all you are able to do is sit up in bed and open your eyes…your purpose is valuable. How? Because you are a vessel in God’s honor. You can pray powerful prayers for others, and for our nation. If you are a stay at home mom, you have an enormous job of multi-tasking and preparing so many areas of life for others. If you work long, difficult hours, you are productive and persevering, and can be a positive influence on others. If you are struggling with emotional or physical issues, you are an overcomer, because every single day you put one foot in front of the other and try.

We all may have days where we just can’t seem to move forward, and those days are when we need to seek God more. Simply recognizing that we are God’s child, helps us remember that we are a part of His Kingdom. We are valuable. We have a purpose, uniqueness, individuality, and worth. No matter where you have been in the past, or where you are right now, you have value. Allow Jesus to guide you into recognizing how much you are loved by Him. Take the time right now to seek God in prayer. Tell yourself you are important, and then, believe it, because you are.

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight; keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. PROVERBS 4:20-23

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of Sonship. And by Him we cry, ‘Abba’, Father. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory. ROMANS 8:15-17

God is with us.
