New

new growth

What does Spring mean to you? Does it mean shorts and flip-flops? Does it mean barbeques and time spent outside? Yes, all those things begin happening when we have the opportunity to experience Spring; but there is a deeper level of understanding of what Spring represents. Spring is a time of new life, resurrection, and HOPE. Spring is a time to clean out the old, and start fresh. Spring represents the celebration of our Savior Jesus. Jesus died and rose again, taking all our sins to the cross so we could be given hope, and the opportunity to be forgiven…to be cleansed, reborn, and saved! Embrace the magnitude of this tremendous gift!

Allow yourself this gift of salvation and hope. Spring is not just a season when we spring forward in time and the earth begins to bloom. Spring is an opportune time to draw closer to the Lord. Make a choice to recognize the new growth around you, and the new growth within you.  Recognize who allows us this gift of new growth. Pay attention to the earth and all it’s wonder, knowing that our All Mighty God is the Founder and Creator of all the wonder that surrounds us. He loves us so much, that He gave us His Son and the beauty that you are able to witness. Never forget the root of your existence. Praise God for all His wonder and spring forward with a thankful attitude!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. 2 CORINTHIANS 17-19

For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together. COLOSSIANS 1:16-17

God is with us.
