Where are you, God?

Where are you, God?Many of us have had times where we have been so lost, so overwhelmed, or faced with something so extremely painful…that you turned away from God. You blame God for what has happened and turn away every time His name is mentioned. As flesh on this earth, we deal with human earthly emotions. We don’t know how to handle certain periods of our lives, so we do the first human instinct we have…we blame someone or something else. When we cannot logically see the reason in the extremity of what we are going through, then it has to be someone else’s fault, right? The easiest one to blame…is God. First of all, God understands. Even when we have turned away from Him, He loves us anyway. Even when we ignore any mention of His name, any prayer, or any part of the church…God is there. God does not expect us to understand the things that happen. We cannot wrap our minds around the reasons for what we go through. However, we can choose to understand that there is eternal life, and we will know everything, if we choose to believe in God Almighty. God will never leave you. God has provided comfort, help, healing and direction…through His Son Jesus. With God we have hope. With God we have forgiveness…for anything. With God we have a chance…to live again…to love again…to be free from burdens and pain. With God, ALL things are possible. If you have slipped away and feel as if you have no one, you have God. Allow Jesus to help you. Simply whisper a prayer to God, and tell Him you need Him. You don’t have to say how you feel, God already knows. Just tell God you need Him, and He will begin showing you His unconditional love. Jesus will take your hand, and walk with you…step by step.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. ROMANS 15:4

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” HEBREWS 13:6

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 PETER 5:6-7

God is with us.
