Worn Out

Some days there is no other way to explain yourself, other than the fact that you are simply tired. Tired of the routine…tired of the stress…tired of facing so much…and working so hard…yet feeling like you get nowhere. We have all been there. We all come to a place in our life where we are worn out, and don’t want to face another day of the same thing. It is good to take a look at the pattern of your days. There may not be anything specific that you can pinpoint that causes these emotions, but there is a specific solution. Step out of the way and let God be the one in control again. Many times when we face that exhaustion, it is because WE are trying to carry the load all by ourselves. Somewhere along the road, we picked up extra baggage of responsibility…baggage that isn’t ours to be carrying. Most likely we are trying to do things ourselves, and have neglected to place God in control. This can be a subconscious shift, one that we don’t realize until we become so worn out. As we pray each morning, remember to place all of your day and everything in it, in God’s Hands. God is in control, and if we let Him guide our steps each day, we won’t be as tired, because we won’t be carrying baggage that isn’t ours.

The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ISAIAH 58:11

As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ROMANS 10:11-13

God is with us.
