Confidence

confidence

Confidence. How do we build our confidence, and from where do we derive our confidence? Are you relying on other people to help you feel confident? Are you waiting for some material reward? Where are you placing your focus and how are you striving for your goals? Many times we take the worldly views of people in society, and use those views as some type of standard to live up to. This is exactly what the devil wants to happen. Our confidence should come from deep within our spirit. The more we draw closer to God, the more we build up spiritual muscle. This spiritual muscle engulfs every aspect of our physical being. We become healthy in our actions…our thoughts…and our words. This is the root of being a confident and strong individual. Always use the Word of God as your guide book. Prayer is your communication resource. Seek God every morning, and continue to pray throughout the day. Ask Jesus to take over your life, and open up your heart to allow Him in. Jesus is our gift, our redeemer, and the one who will always help you and carry you through. Call on His name throughout the day. Make the decision to focus your life on trusting God for your confidence. God will build you up in amazing and unbelievable ways.

Therefore, since we have a high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4:14-16

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of Him. 1 JOHN 5:14-15

God is with us.
