Press on

Press on. Don’t give up. There is a light of hope ahead. We all have times in our lives when it seems like things are impossible. Sometimes we simply cannot see how the future will get better, and we are stuck in the pain of right now. When we find ourselves in the midst of these difficult times, it can be hard to see the future. Why do we tend to feel more alone in the midst of trials? As humans, we begin to isolate when we find ourselves in despair. For some reason we think we are the only one’s facing the kinds of things we are facing. As we feel more desperate, we internalize and recluse into our own little world. This is when we begin to have doubt and fear. This is when we have Jesus still standing beside us…but we have a hard time taking His Hand to help us, because we may be too depleted to ask. This is when the Holy Spirit speaks for us. God is always with you. Jesus is always beside you. There is not a single thing this world can throw at us, that God cannot help you through. We must remind ourselves; no matter what we have done, or where we are in life, God is waiting to help you. We must simply ask. Just whisper the name of Jesus and soon the words will come. Ask Jesus to carry you…walk you…guide you. Ask for God to show you His presence, and expect for Him to be in the midst of the issues. The choice is ours to ask. The choice is ours to believe. The choice is ours to seek God and give Him the opportunity. Make the choice to make a decision to give God all your issues today. God promises us the light of hope in Him.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. ROMANS 15:4

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. ROMANS 15:13

God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. 1 JOHN 1:5

God is with us.
