Why?

Why me? How can this be happening? What am I doing wrong? These are questions from the heart, that we have all faced at some point in our lives. When we face adversity, we immediately begin trying to find the reason, and that typically leads to pointing the finger at someone or something else. More often than not, God is the first one to blame. It is the human response to wonder why our Creator…our Father in Heaven…would be allowing these difficult things to happen. It makes no sense to us. We need to know how to fix things, and if we can figure out why things happened in the first place, we can begin to analyze how to fix it. How many of us have gone through this cycle in our lives…over and over again? Since creation, humans have been struggling with this cycle of faith. Faith is not easy. Faith is something we develop. Faith is hope. Hope is what we must hold onto, in order to press through the difficult times, and understand that these times are temporary. We cannot possibly understand the depths of what happens to us in our lives. The one thing we can control, is our reaction to life. It is the reaction and action we take, that will determine your own inner peace. The situation may not change immediately, but if you can learn to seek God and open up your heart to trust Jesus, you can begin a new walk of faith. The more we allow ourselves to understand that God is the one who will help us, the more we grow in strength. God is who has the ultimate power and control. Jesus will help…God is really there…we just need to break down our walls, and truly let God in.
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. HEBREWS 11:1

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice, that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 1 PETER 4:12-14
God is with you.
