Help me.

Someone…please hold my hand and help me get through this. Anyone…tell me I’m not alone. Friend…please tell me it’s going to be OK. Jesus…help me. God…I don’t know what to do, I need to know you are there. No matter who you are, or where you are in life, you have felt these emotions at some point. More often than not, we feel them repeatedly. We face difficulties and circumstances that are simply overwhelming. How can we possibly know how to handle some things in life, when we have had no experience with the situation? We cannot expect to know what to do all the time. It’s not possible to be that wise. So, what do we do when we feel lost and overwhelmed? How do we make ourselves press forward, when all we really feel like doing, is giving up? Pray. Even if you feel like you have no prayer in you…whisper a prayer to God anyway. Mumble, scream, or even silently pray, but press forth the effort to simply pray. Don’t think you have to know what to say, just say what’s on your heart. Let yourself release that burden…that absolute unknown and lost feeling. God knows, He is just waiting on you to ask Him for help. Prayer to God is our ultimate power tool, and when we seek God in prayer, we open up our hearts to God’s divine intervention. God is our Father and He will take care of you…always.  God is the one who can and will carry you through, if you allow Him the opportunity to do so. Don’t feel alone. Don’t feel like you can’t make it through. God is there, and He will bring people in your life to help you, and turn situations around in a way you could never imagine. It takes time, and trust in God. Believe that God is really there. Pray…and then hold onto Hope…and God’s promises.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. ROMANS 12:12-13

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. JAMES 5:16
