Wholehearted

heart all

Many times I am asked the question, “why do I not hear from God?” It is not my place to answer that question, but it is my place to ask a question in response. Are you committed to living completely and totally for God? Have you repented of all your sins…in a serious and wholehearted manner? Have you discontinued doing any type of behavior that you know is NOT of God? Have you made a daily effort to pray to God? Do you read your Bible or devotional…doing your best to strengthen your relationship with Jesus? Do you walk the walk, and talk the talk, in a real, honest, and righteous manner? If you will make a life changing decision to live your life in surrender to God…you will not only hear from God…you will experience His blessings, His power, and His miracles…far beyond your expectations.

Jesus said: “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” MATTHEW 6:24

(The danger: To serve money is to place such a high value on it that we place our trust and faith in it, look to it for ultimate security and happiness, expect it to guarantee our future, and desire it more than we desire God’s righteousness and Kingdom. The danger of accumulated wealth is that it usually dominates one’s mind and life so that God’s Kingdom and glory are no longer first. God must be our priority.)

Then He said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?” LUKE 9:23-25

God is with us.
