Hope in Jesus.

What would this world be like, if we saw everyone through the eyes of Jesus? This world would have peace, love, equality, compassion and hope. There would be no judgment…no disrespect…no criticism. Imagine that. Imagine how much joy we would see surrounding us, and especially imagine how much security and stability our children would have. Now think about who you know, that strives to live a life as close to Jesus’ example as possible. Is it you? We cannot possibly expect to achieve peace, love and joy, if we are not willing to humble our Spirit. Think about that person you admire…the one who strives to live righteously. Do they throw their faith around in a loud and boisterous manner, or do they simply show the love of Jesus, and share the love and wisdom in a helpful and encouraging way? Do they live flamboyant life styles, striving for attention or superiority? There is someone in your life that you know, that has shown you what God calls us to be. You can have that same influence in your own life. It just takes surrendering to Jesus, and slowly allowing God to mold you. This world has hope. We just have to be willing to trust in God’s promises, so that we can all begin to see each other through the eyes of Jesus.

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. ROMANS 12:9-13

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. COLOSSIANS 3:12-14

God is with us.
