The Unknown

trust-in-god

Have you ever had an extreme enthusiasm or zeal in your heart for something…and you weren’t sure what to do with it? This enthusiasm has a purpose and a reason for action. There are times in our lives we are directed in ways that may not make sense to us. We simply know that we are nudged to take an action…but we may not have a clue where the action is going…or how to get there. Faith has a whole new meaning to us when we are facing a completely blank screen in our lives. Trusting that our actions are God’s will…is not easy to do. We often question ourselves…and wonder if it is the Holy Spirit guiding these feelings. As I have faced opportunities in my own life…I have struggled with the doubt and the fear that come along with the unknown journey. Prayer is the only way I know I will be solid in my decision making. As I take each step…I pray…and then I pray some more. Light of Hope was born out of that nudging from God. I stepped out into the unknown…trusting that God would guide me. Jesus has walked along side me the entire journey. God brought me a wonderful team of Board Members, volunteers…and He provided a truly blessed location. Today, we are providing a ministry that is helping people see the hope.

We must always be willing to step forward in action…but we must also be in tune to how the Holy Spirit is directing us. If we are willing to be servants and vessels for God…He will give us that enthusiasm…and He will not leave us hanging without opportunity. I continue to boldly step forward and trust in God’s direction…and I know Jesus will be holding my hand each step of the way. I pray that each one of you have a desire and an enthusiasm to dream…and to know that with God…all things are possible!

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” JEREMIAH 29:11-13

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” MATTHEW 19:26

God is with us.
