Are you acknowledging?

dear-sir

Acknowledgement. How often do you wonder if someone got your email, voice mail or text? If someone doesn’t respond…it tends to leave you hanging…unsure if you should ask if they received your message…or if you need to resend it again? Today’s world has a missing link…communication. People assume the technology we have…can take the place of acknowledgement and communication. Sending and receiving messages electronically has it’s conveniences…but they do not give us an assurance that the correct information has been transmitted…unless we acknowledge the message. Think about how often we have made the mistake of forgetting or ignoring an acknowledgement. As we ponder upon these truths…let’s think about how much we communicate with God. Typically we find ourselves praying more, when we have an urgent issue. We desperately seek God’s help when we need something…but how often do you acknowledge God when the issue has been resolved? We must recognize how important it is to give thanks and acknowledgement to God…for the many prayers He answers…and the continuous love He pours upon us. Prayer and communication is essential in our spiritual growth…as well as in our human relationships. As we face this day…let us acknowledge and respond with clear communication. There will be a peace that comes from this clarity…and with this peace comes calm and assurance.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. PROVERBS 3:5-6

And whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. COLOSSIANS 3:17

God is with us.
