Giving is a beautiful cycle of HOPE.

anne-frank

I don’t know about you, but my heart is filled with so many emotions with all the world events. I don’t watch much television at all, but I do make a point to try to keep up with the national news; so I can effectively pray for our world. I have become so emotional and filled with such a desire to help in some way. But the truth is; I am just one woman…one individual…one soul. I am limited as to what I can do. What I can do; is pray. Praying specifically and diligently brings God into the situation…who is the ultimate power source we need to take control. We all need to pray. Pray without ceasing. As we pray we can allow Jesus to guide our hearts into action. If there is something you can effectively do in your community to help…open your heart up to do it. This time of year is a time of giving. Not just giving gifts to your family and friends; but more importantly…giving time, love, compassion, donations, and effort to help this world in some small way. Alone, we are not sufficient to the needs that surround us. Together, we are. Make a decision this holiday season, to do something different. Even if you have struggles of your own; you can allow God to use you. You will receive a blessing in your giving efforts. Giving is a beautiful cycle of hope. The more you give, the more you end up receiving. Think of some cause or someone you know you can help this holiday season. Allow Jesus to work through you…to show this world how amazing God is.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:16-18

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” LUKE 6:38
