Your story matters.

Do not be afraid to speak up. Do you realize how much value is held in your experiences? There is someone out there who is struggling in their life. They feel isolated and many times they feel like they are the only one experiencing the difficulty they are going through. God has brought each one of us through very different situations. We can each look back and see how we overcame that obstacle…just as we can each remember that feeling of isolation. It is so important for us to pay attention to others. When you are receptive to others…God will give you a nudging when it is time to reach out and help. Your story matters, and it is powerful to this world. God wants us to share the hope and the recovery that we have experienced. God wants us to give others hope…because we are the living example of His power and love. Let your wisdom from experience lead you into saving someone from despair. Don’t be afraid to share…don’t be afraid to let God work through you.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. EPHESIANS 4:29

And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:14-18

God is with us.
