Life is hard. No matter who you are, or where you are, there is difficulty at some point in life. Difficulties are part of our existence, and we cannot run away from them. No matter how hard we try, or how far we run…the problems do not simply go away. We all need help. So, why is it so hard to admit we need help? Why is it so hard to ask? Why do we let ourselves go further and further down the road alone? The answer to those questions is…pride. Pride is an enemy. Pride can cause many more issues that just the selfish definition it holds. If we don’t let down that pride, and admit we are weak, we are trying to play God. God is our Father…our Creator…our existence. God is our help…our guide…our source to wisdom, direction, and HOPE. We are human, given the free will from God to make choices in our lives. This means that we have the opportunity to decide how we will handle the adversities we face. We can choose to seek God and surrender our life to Him…or we can continue to walk alone. Attempting life alone causes isolation, fear, and serious depression. This is when the devil will attack your mind. Don’t give the devil the opportunity to keep you down…to continue your hopelessness; to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10) ASK GOD FOR HELP. God never leaves us…we are the one’s who leave God. Start right now, by saying a prayer to God. Simply tell God you need Him, and ask Him to help you. Then, open up your eyes…open up your heart…open up your doors…because God will bring people to help you. He will show you signs to follow, and pour down His love and blessings upon you. Give God the trust and the time, and you will see His great works in your life.
Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise; apply your heart to what I teach, for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips. So that your trust may be in the Lord, I teach you today, even you. PROVERBS 22:17-19
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power forever and ever. Amen. 1 PETER 5:5-11
