Are you struggling to find positive in your day? We are surrounded with so many influences and opinions about life. So often, we hear complaining, bitterness and judgment about the subjects we are faced with as a nation. What is happening all around us, can become overwhelming, and subject us to a negative way of thinking…if we let it. As we recognize the reality of this world, and the differences of people, we have to make a choice to focus. We must focus on God’s promises. We must decide to ignore the negative influences, and prepare our hearts to allow Jesus to guide us through each day. We have no control over other people. The only control we have, is what we allow into our hearts…and our choices in our reactions to life. God has control over everything. When we allow God to take over our hearts and minds, we can better prepare ourselves to react to this world in a more logical way. We have the opportunity to make our days positive…by the way we decide to perceive things. Seek God in all ways, in all areas, in complete surrender. He will provide the wisdom to know how to react to the adversities. Jesus will allow our hearts to be compassionate and understanding…which in turn, will be an example that this world desperately needs.
The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. PSALM 121:5-8
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms. EPHESIANS 1:17-20
God is with us.
