Do not lose heart.

Some days it is hard to wake up. It may not be because you are physically tired; you may simply be emotionally exhausted. Many times we are facing situations in our lives that we don’t know how to handle. We would rather stay in bed, call into work, or hide from the world…rather than face the difficulty we perceive in that day. Is it possible that the difficulty you are anticipating…is much less of a situation than you are perceiving? Are you creating an anxiety and a worry in your own mind…causing the situation to be much more than it really is? God’s Word tells us, ‘We can do everything through Christ who strengthens us.’ PHILIPPIANS 4:13.  We know that God’s promises are real…therefore, we must grab hold of the truth that we can face anything and everything in life…with Christ. As humans, we tend to focus on what we see right in front of us. We fixate on the here and now…rather than on the hope we have in Christ. No matter how difficult things are at the present time…there is healing and the ability to press through it. We must focus on the cross…seek Jesus on a continuous basis…and pray to God with honesty and sincerity. Do not lose heart. Our troubles are momentary…but hope is eternal.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:16-18

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. HEBREWS 4:15-16

God is with us.
