God speaks.

romans-8-28

So often we get frustrated with life, and begin to ask God why He isn’t speaking to us. We hear other people talking about how God directed them…or spoke to them…and we wonder why that never seems to happen to us? The truth is…God is constantly directing us. He is communicating with us on a continual basis, by helping us make decisions and giving us a ‘feeling’ inside. When we become distant in our relationship with God, we don’t recognize His presence as much…but He has not gone anywhere. Tune into your inner voice on a daily basis. God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our communicator…that nudge…that subtle guide. Pay attention to your instincts…that gut feeling that we sometimes feel. Listen to that pull…that is leaning you in a particular direction. So often we tend to ignore the voice of God, because we don’t literally ‘hear’ His voice. God speaks to us in many ways. He may be communicating to you through actions or through other means. Slow down enough to be able to listen. Open your heart up, asking God to help you pay attention. Then stay tuned in…through prayer and daily meditation…and soon you will become more aware when God is telling you what to do.

Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. PROVERBS 16:3

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ACTS 2:38

For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.  COLOSSIANS 2:5

God is with us.
