Commit to seeking God’s Word.

We have been given the Word of God; The Holy Bible…that has answers to all the questions we will ever face. When we read it, we must open up our spirit and allow ourselves to receive the message within. This takes time and effort on our part. So often we neglect simply reading and learning the Word of God…until we feel a sense of urgency. Yes, you will find comfort as soon as you open the Bible. But so often we expect to pick up the Bible and find the answers to our situation to jump out at us immediately. God’s Word holds all the answers of life. However, we cannot expect to pick and choose the moments in which we basically demand an instant answer.  What we really need…is long term guidance…life skills…and wisdom derived from searching and reading the Bible on a consistent basis. If we will commit to seeking God’s Word as a daily routine…you can be assured your daily life will transform into peace, hope, and positive direction.

For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. HEBREWS 4:12-13

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. EPHESIANS 6:12-17

God is with us.
