The future journey…

C.S. Lewis

As we reflect back on our own past…one important thing to remember…is how far we have come. Whether you are where you desire to be, or even if you feel you have taken a step back…you have made a journey. Within each journey is a lesson, and that lesson has made a difference in your life. Each day is a step forward in our life, and it steps us one day closer to eternity. Today, make sure you acknowledge the past for what it is…past lessons…a past journey…and days filled with past memories. Right now is the time to focus on this moment…this day…and the future journey that you truly desire. Remember, when we receive Jesus in our heart, and ask for forgiveness…we have a new beginning. So often we get hung up dwelling on the things we wish we could change from the past. Why do we do that? It does no good to dwell on mistakes. The good comes from reflecting on the lesson learned from the mistake. Take what you have been through…and grab hold of the lesson. Grab hold of what you know is the good part of the journey, and do your best to make TODAY all that you desire it to be. God can show you amazing and wonderful things, if you begin to plant roots in today’s soil…grounded on trusting God to show you how.

Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden in light.” MATTHEW 11:28-30

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trust in Him will never be put to shame.” ROMANS 10:9-11

God is with us.
