Show the world.

Live like Christ

How did we get here? Why are the things we are hearing and seeing in this world…suddenly so acceptable? Immorality has lost it’s clear definition in this world. People don’t seem to blink twice about certain subjects that are clearly wrong. Again, how did we get here? This is not a new subject. It is, however, an issue that has worsened, and needs to be focused on. We are the result of the world influences…UNLESS we stand up and boldly proclaim the truth. Don’t live as the world is living. Don’t fall into the trap of needing to fit in…meet a certain social standard…or look a certain way. Present yourself in such a way, that people see the light that shines in your soul. Jesus will be reflected in you…if you choose to allow God to mold you into His image. This is done by surrendering your life to Jesus…and making a commitment every day…to live in the best way possible. Be the example that people are drawn to…because they recognize the good and the value within you. If we simply live a righteous and positive life, we radiate that positive energy that will encourage people to want to know what makes you so positive. As you face the challenges this world throws at you…ask for God to show you how to handle them. Pray each morning…that Jesus will help you to be the best person you can be. We will always face adversity. However, adversity does not need to be the defining factor in our lives. Let God be the defining factor in how you face each adversity. Show the world that God is your strength and source…and you will be helping a nation rebuild…one positive influence at a time.

So then just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. COLOSSIANS 2:6-8

And whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. COLOSSIANS 3:17

God is with us.
