Pray without ceasing.

pray without ceasing

It is difficult to watch other people take a wrong turn in their life. Many times we try our hardest to encourage them to make better decisions, and avoid the wrong choices they are making. Sometimes…we can do no more than try…and then painfully watch as that person begins to fall away from what is good and right. We must continue to pray for them, and attempt to talk to them about the love and saving Grace of Jesus. However, we cannot feel responsible for other people’s choices. We have to learn to let go of how we are feeling about the situation…and ask Jesus to please help intercede. It will be up to the individual to accept God’s help…and we have no control over that. God gives us a free will to choose our pathway in life. It is up to each person to willfully make their own choices. The ultimate gift of hope you can give toward someone you are concerned about…is the constant gift of your intercessory prayers for them. Pray without ceasing. God is doing all that He can.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. ROMANS 15:4-6

But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. HEBREWS 7:24-25

God is with us.
