We ALL need help sometimes.

Most of us have experienced some point in our lives…where we woke up one day and felt a deep saddened emotion. We may be able to immediately identify what is the cause of this emotion…or we may not be able to pin point the reason for the sadness. All we know, is that we hurt, and we begin to question life. This may be a very temporary emotion for many people…but for some…this is a daily struggle. Depression is sneaky…and it is hard to identify at times. Depression is real, and it is nothing to be ashamed about. We all have struggles in our lives. We all deal with difficult internal emotions. We all need help. Again, we ALL need help at times. Why is it so hard to admit when we are struggling? Why is it easier to begin wearing a mask of false happiness? If we don’t quit hiding the reality of life’s hardships, then we can’t begin facing the ability to seek, find, and truly live in real happiness. Society has created such an impossible reality…yet people tend to measure their lives to this fake level of “social worldly acceptance”. As you think about your own personal struggle, analyze how you are handling your issues. Are you attempting to press through life with ‘the world’ as your guide? It’s time to take off the mask…and allow God to begin healing and helping you press through the hardships. Stop looking at the world as any kind of example…and begin looking to God for His guidance and example. Begin by praying to God, and ask Him to help you open up your heart to Jesus. Then, allow Jesus to begin guiding you and carrying you. The surrender is the beginning of emotional freedom. God is the way…and through His Son Jesus, you will find that peace and happiness you so desire.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ISAIAH 41:10

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test , he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. JAMES 1:12

God is with us.
