Do you ever get frustrated with being “patient”? Patience is hard. Waiting on something to happen takes a great deal of self control. As we seek to be diligent in our faith…we learn the effectiveness of God’s timing. God knows what is best for us. God has given us the free will and ability to seek Him and then TRUST in Him. This is not easy. This takes prayer and dedication. This takes true surrender. As we face things in life, we must agree to be open and willing to allow God to work things out in our life. If we attempt to manipulate, control, and rearrange things because of our impatience…we will hinder the true value and worth of our future. We will prolong the blessings because we failed to trust God whole heartedly. Jesus gives us the ability to have peace and understanding as we wait. But we must be willing to seek Jesus for that help…and then trust in the silence. As you wait for things to happen in your life…commit to giving God all your heart. As we give our whole heart and soul to our Heavenly Father…He will surprise you with amazing results and a future filled with hope…in His timing.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ROMANS 8:25-26
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. HEBREWS 6:12
God is with us.
