Have you ever used the excuse that you do not know everything about God yourself…so how can you talk to others about God? Most of us, whether you have been studying the Word for years, or new to your faith…have an uncertainty about how much we can speak about God to others. It is a very common misconception, and something we must all overcome. God desires for us to share our faith, no matter how knowledgeable you are. Each one of us are at different levels. The level of our Biblical education is not what helps another person…it is the love and sharing that helps someone else. The love of God shines through each of us. Let others know of the peace and love you have found. Let others know about the difference God has made in your life. Don’t be afraid to say what has happened to you in your own journey. It is through the testimony of our own lives…that we give hope and encouragement to those who are seeking to find the “light” in their lives!
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven. MATTHEW 5:14-16
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believer’s in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 TIMOTHY 4:12
God is with us.
